Senior FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Role overview:
The FP&A Senior Analyst requires making informed decision-making through monthly analysis, forecasts, and budget support. Key responsibilities include stakeholder reviews, variance explanations, and optimising client profitability.
THE ROLE:
- Lead the monthly group analysis and oversee the production of monthly Board packs.
- Conduct detailed analysis of key contribution drivers.
- Evaluate cost variances, considering factors like inflation, procurement savings, and productivity.
- Perform operational analysis aligned with business KPIs to measure productivity gains as part of the company’s strategic roadmap.
- Manage the monthly cost pack for engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Offer value-added, insightful variance analysis and commentaries with business engagement.
- Take ownership of rolling and quarterly forecasts, as well as the delivery of the annual budget cycle and 3-year plan.
- Enhance profitability analysis and provide deeper insights.
- Develop capabilities for tracking benefits to support investment appraisals and ROI analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for the Group, FP&A Managers, and the CFO.
- Improve analysis to provide a comprehensive understanding of the P&L to the executive team.
- Support the development of Forecasting tools and the automation of Management Information (MI).
- Line manage a direct report, providing guidance and support.
