Rate- £650 inside IR35

Location- On site to London

We’re working with a leading London based consultancy as they search for a EDP Architect to join one of their financial services clients with the below requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the development of next version of our EDP strategy, ensure alignment with
• business strategy, enterprise principles, technology standards and strategically aligned.
• technical architecture.
• Engage key stakeholder in business, product groups, security, and architecture function to
• identify capabilities, perform gap assessment, maturity assessment and document.
• architecture to create a future ready data lake.
• Ensure the strategy is presented and approved at architectural governance to ensure.
• stakeholders agree to the strategy and technology direction.
• Research technology trends and identifying opportunities to exploit innovation ensuring.
• these are fully understood and explored.
• Providing a non-technical interpretation of architecture and technology to management and
• business areas.

Skills / Experience Required:

Minimum:

Significant experience of building strategy in technology space, especially Data Lake/Data Lakehouse.

Experience of architectural governance processes and formal architecture methodologies

and frameworks.

Experience working within or an appreciation of Software and Platforms as a Service (SaaS,

PaaS)

Essential:

• Experience of developing and promoting innovative technical strategies and demonstrating
• understanding of the interactions between people, processes, and technology
• Ability to take a holistic view of the organisation and its business needs ensuring cross.
• functional considerations are accounted for.
• Ability to grasp issues of a business nature, apply strategic and innovative thinking to
• develop pragmatic solutions and assess the technical impact.

• Deep knowledge of a broad range of technology and technology trends
• Experience of implementing solution on AWS using native capabilities.
• Experience of Cloudera platform.
• Experience of cloud-based technologies

Desirable:

• Experience of working with multiple solutions service providers and reviewing and
• recommending sourcing options for delivering the target enterprise business application
• and integration platforms
• TOGAF certified.
