Data Visualisation Engineer – Qliksense & Tableau

£500-£550 via Umbrella

Hampshire based client, hybrid working with 2 days per week required onsite

Leading business is looking to bring in a Data Visualisation Engineer to help drive forward self-serve, facilitate training and be the champion of tech by showing the business what value it can add.

Role:

• Ensure self-service is at the forefront of our reporting landscape through our core toolset or Qliksense and Tableau.
• Support the training of data colleagues and the wider business in best practice for self-service reporting.
• Work with Visualisation Engineer to align concepts and processes of self-service across different tools and business functions, delivering a consistent approach to delivery wherever possible.
• Review and update existing self-service functionality to ensure best practice is followed through curated, reusable data delivery.
• Work with Visualisation Engineer to ensure best practice methods of design and delivery of visualisations are documented and utilised within the wider team.

Experience/skills:

• Solid Tableau and Qliksense visualisation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Significant experience of working in a data & analytics team for a company going through a similar transformation of self-service delivery to the wider business. i.e., an established corporate looking to empower the business to drive value from data by engaging in the available tools to build their own visualisations to deliver insights.
• Demonstratable understanding & experience of data concepts, technology and architectures. You must understand the technical concepts and the rapidly changing world of data & analytics including knowledge of AI & machine learning techniques.
• Demonstratable experience of delivering business value through data in a previous role.
