Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data / Solution Architect to lead a short, focused discovery engagement, with a strong likelihood of extension into a broader delivery phase.

This role will operate at a senior level, engaging closely with stakeholders to assess the current regulatory data landscape, define future‑state data architecture, and produce a clear, actionable delivery roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities focused on regulatory data across complex environments
• Design and document the current‑state data landscape, including systems, products, and databases
• Assess and articulate data quality and classification across identified datasets
• Define future‑state data architecture aligned to strategic and regulatory objectives
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders to validate findings and recommendations
• Produce a high‑level delivery plan covering workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, and required capabilities

Prospective Deliverables

1. Regulatory Data Landscape Inventory

   • Documented inventory of all locations holding regulatory data, including system, product, and database details

2. Dataset Classification Summary

   • Summary of the types of regulatory data held across each identified location

3. Future‑State Data View

   • One‑year view (end FY 26/27)
   • Three‑year view (end FY 28/29)

4. Delivery Plan

   • High‑level roadmap outlining activities, milestones, capacity, risks, and dependencies

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in data landscape design and data architecture
• Proven ability to conduct data quality assessments
• Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience operating at SFIA Level 5 or equivalent
• Background delivering data discovery and roadmap activities within regulated environments

Security Requirements

• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS clearance
