My client is an award winning, privately owned Security and Facilities Service, with a growing customer base across the UK. They have seen significant growth since they started, and have ambitious plans to achieve £50million turnover by 2030.

Their digital transformation has opened up an exciting opportunity – they are looking for a Data Engineer to join the business transformation team, which is at the very beginning of this extremely exciting journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ambitious to make a real impact and showcase their skills in this field.

You would play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of data within the organisation. You will have the freedom to design, develop and optimise data pipelines and systems, as well as analysing and interpreting large datasets to drive actionable insights and inform decision making.

This role will give you the opportunity to really contribute to the development of innovative solutions and make the business operations more efficient, unlocking the power of their data.

They require experience in a Data Engineer or similar, as well as:

• Strong experience in SQL and knowledge of database tech such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle or MySQL, as well as:
• Experience with any Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure etc.)
• Proficiency in Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
• ETL tools and frameworks such as Data Factory, Fivetran etc.
• Programming experience with Python, R, or JavaScript would be useful.
