Are you passionate about building powerful data systems and shaping the future of data-driven products? A leading technology company is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing team.

As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll work across the full data lifecycle-from ETL and data modelling to supporting machine learning initiatives. You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists, Developers, and Infrastructure Engineers to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable data solutions.

Data Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Monitor and test systems for performance and data quality.
• Maintain and schedule data jobs for reliability.
• Implement data anonymisation and best practices in data engineering.
• Support data lifecycle: ETL/ELT, storage, processing, analysis, modelling, deployment.
• Provide operational support and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve data solutions aligned with growth plans.

Data Engineer Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in SQL databases (Microsoft or Postgres), and be familiar with dimensional modelling, star schema design and ETL processes
• Proven experience in a Data Engineering role within an Agile environment
• Strong SQL database and data warehousing skills, focusing on stored procedures & load performance
• Expertise in ETL, dimensional modelling, and star schema design
• Solid understanding of data security and multi-tenancy
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
