Leading Financial Services company is looking for a business focused Data Architect to join their analytics team.

This role requires a strong grounding in standard data architecture principles, particularly as they relate to data analytics, combined with exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Your ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams will be just as critical as your technical expertise.

Role:

• Collaborate closely with project teams to refine and shape analytics solution designs that ingest data from source systems into our central data platform to meet evolving business needs.
• Support discovery efforts by analysing and mapping the existing data architecture landscape in detail.
• Understand and apply data warehousing and analytics concepts
• Gather data requirements and design data solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Review and understand data models, ensuring integration within overall architecture.
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for all data architecture artifacts and processes.

Skills/Experience:

• An experienced Data Architect with a strong knowledge of data architecture principles, especially related to data analytics and warehousing.
• Proven Stakeholder Management skills
• Experience in data requirements gathering and solution architecture in cloud environments
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions rather than strategy-level oversight.
• Experience of working within the Financial Services sector
