2nd Line IT support Engineer – Chippenham (onsite)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join an award-winning company in Chippenham. This role is ideal for an experienced IT support professional ready to take the next step in their career.
2nd Line IT support Engineer Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to the 1st Line Team to help upskill and improve knowledge
- To support and maintain Microsoft Server/ Desktops and Azure Cloud environments
- Resolve customer issues within the agreed SLAs
- Escalate issues to the 3rd Line Support Team where necessary
- Undertake IT project work as instructed by the Projects Team
- Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations
2nd Line IT support Engineer Skills
- Active Directory Administration (passwords, users, groups, permissions)
- Azure Active Directory Administration (Modern Workplace Administration)
- Office 365 Administration including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc
- Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
- Experience working on a service desk
- Working with 3rd party software/solution providers
- Desktop & Server experience
- Familiarity with laptop and desktop builds
