Flexibly Hybrid (Ideally One Day Per Week in Office)
Our client, a well known financial services organisation are looking for an experienced category manager to join their team whilst they go through a transformation.
You Will:
- Lead the development of category strategies and initiatives
- Source and evaluate new suppliers
- Run and oversee sourcing and selection processes
- Lead negotiations and secure savings
- Driving insight through market research, benchmarking, supplier knowledge and networking
Essential Experience:
- Significant category management experience
- Indirect procurement experience
- Extensive negotiation experience
- Track record of delivering cost savings
- Excellent stake holder management skills
Desirable Experience:
- Financial Services experience
- IT procurement experience
- Supplier relationship management experience
