Interim Marketing Communications Specialist

12 to 14 Month FTC

I'm working in partnership with an international B2B construction brand who, due to an upcoming maternity leave, are looking for an experienced marketer to join on a 12 to 14 month fixed term contract.

Based in Milton Keynes, this role is Hybrid Working.

You will be responsible for the delivery of marketing communications plans for the B2B business by providing target audience focused go-to-market toolkits and activities, events, campaigns, PR and demand generation and customer nurturing to achieve the marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate would be a strong marketing generalist with B2B experience who would love a varied role in a great culture. This is a role where you'll get a lot of autonomy and have a supportive team around you.

What You'll Do

  • Ownership of delivering activity in an area of the marketing communications plan
  • Development and optimisation of toolkits, web tools and lead generation activity
  • Support on content for literature, merchandising and PR
  • Maintain and optimise the digital infrastructure; Hubspot, website, social media and digital platforms
  • Manage project budgets
  • Report on key metrics and KPIs across owned projects
  • Ensure execution of the UK&I brand strategy
  • Coordinate and contribute to internal communications
  • Support external commercial communications
  • Customer engagement - Deliver customer and industry events

What We're looking for

  • Strong team player with great communication skills
  • A track record of delivering marketing and communications projects and campaigns on time in full, within budget, with measurable outcomes
  • Able to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to develop and execute online and offline multi-channel campaigns and growth initiatives
  • B2B Marketing experience
  • Able to prioritise and coordinate multiple projects and initiatives
  • Experience executing customer engagement and integrated demand generation activity
  • Comfortable briefing to external agencies
  • Construction or manufacturing industry experience (or similar) is desirable
