HRIS Workday Implementation Manager - 12 Month FTC

Our County Durham based client require an experienced Implementation Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the Workday HCM system into the client, along with managing the cutover and migration of data from the client's existing systems to the new Workday modules.

Up to £70k per annum + 15% Bonus + Benefits . 12 month FTC.

This person will be responsible for ensuring that the Workday HCM system is successfully delivered into the business. They will work closely with Workday's technical resources and Project Managers, the client's internal Project Managers, and also the client's HR and Finance teams to ensure that the technical delivery is landed successfully. This person will also be responsible for coordinating and executing a series of cutover / migration events to migrate data from the client's existing HR, finance and payroll systems over to the new Workday modules.


Experience required:

  • Strong previous experience of working on HRIS implementations
  • Previous experience of working on a Workday implementation
  • Extensive previous experience of working in an Implementation Manager, Cutover Manager, or Data Migration Manager role or similar
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Data
  • Extensive experience of managing complex data migrations, ideally with experience of leading major migration events / cutover events
  • Strong experience of working with HR, Finance and Payroll teams and stakeholders
  • Experience of working with and managing 3rd party IT suppliers / partners
  • Exceptional Stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, dynamic and 'can-do' approach to their work


NB: This role will initially be remote due to the current Covid-19 guidelines, probably for the first 4-6 monthhs. However, there will be an expectation that this role will require this person to work from their office in County Durham circa 2-3 days per week in the future as the implementation progresses. There will also be some travel to London. If you are not able to commit to working in County Durham for circa 2-3 days per week, please do not apply for this role.
