IT Systems Engineer

Salary to £50,000/annum

Hereford – on site

No clearance required to apply, however must be eligible for DV

Sanderson Government and Defence have recently partnered with a software development SME based in Hereford who are currently on the look out for a Systems Engineer to join their small team working primarily on the internal IT estate.

As this is a small environment, a can do attitude, an ability to find your own solutions and a willingness to muck in where required get’s you an awful long way, however there are some technical specifics that would help your case:

  • Ground up server build experience in either Windows or Linux (both would be ideal)
  • Virtualisation (the client uses VMWare, but other transferable experience is fine)
  • Networking (TCP/IP, Cisco kit etc)

The server build (not just support) really is key, but outside of that if you’ve got the right mindset and background then I’d be keen to speak to you.
