Our client, an innovative market-leading insurance company, are looking for a Performance Analyst to join their Commercial & Marketing team either working remotely or based in their Haywards Heath, West Sussex office.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role you’ll support understanding and delivery of all acquisition/persistency KPIs to ensure budget targets are met. You will carry out analysis to support the identification of risks and opportunities to meet business objectives.
  • Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and come from an insurance background? Have you worked with large data sets of more than one million rows? Do you have experience in forecasting, including phasing, bridges/waterfalls, and budgets and/or have you previously worked with price comparison website (PCW) data? If so, then they want you on their team!

What you’ll be doing

  • Carrying out analysis and tracking MI to support the understanding of all acquisition/persistency KPIs. Identifying any risks and opportunities where appropriate.
  • Support the understanding of the key drivers of acquisition/persistency performance and being able to clearly articulate them.
  • Support acquisition/persistency Performance manager in the execution of the customer acquisition strategy.
  • Support commercial initiatives across functional teams to deliver new capability or improvements in acquisition/persistency performance.
  • Support acquisition/persistency Performance manager with forecasting, budget and retrospective analysis processes.
  • Access and analyse often large amounts of information, data and market intelligence from multiple sources to create insight to optimise trading activities and generate new tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the acquisition/persistency Performance manager with the Daily Trade stand-ups ensuring appropriate updates are delivered and any analysis/actions completed in a timely manner.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Skills & experience

  • Understanding of the insurance/financial services industry, its products.
  • Experience of personal lines insurance analysis
  • Experience of SAS, Excel and strong background in statistical methods
  • Highly numerate and analytical. Ability to solve problems and distil complex information into clear insight and recommendations.
  • Structured thinking to find solutions to complex problems and the ability to adopt a pragmatic way forward.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
