Leading Financial Services business is looking to recruit a Data Analyst to support a major data transition initiative, including the decommissioning of SAS and the move toward a future-state data environment. This role is highly analytical and focuses on understanding, comparing, and translating data between current and future states rather than building reports or dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial services (ideally insurance) and will act as a bridge between business, data, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and compare current-state data with future-state data models and outputs
  • Translate existing SAS logic and processes into SQL, ensuring functional equivalence
  • Perform data mapping between legacy and target systems
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify differences, risks, and data quality issues between current and future states
  • Validate that future-state data meets business, regulatory, and operational requirements
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to clarify data definitions and assumptions
  • Document data transformations, mappings, and analytical findings clearly and concisely
  • Support testing and validation activities during system migration and decommissioning phases

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Data Analyst in complex data environments
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to translate logic from other platforms (e.g., SAS)
  • Experience supporting or working through SAS decommissioning or legacy system migration
  • Proven experience in data mapping and gap analysis
  • Solid understanding of financial services data, ideally within insurance
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to document and communicate complex data concepts clearly

    The Role

    We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Procurement Senior Manager with strong Real Estate and Office Services category expertise to join a large, complex, global professional services organisation. This is a leadership role within procurement, operating across EMEA with global stakeholder exposure.

    The role offers flexible hybrid working, senior-level stakeholder engagement, and the opportunity to lead high-value, strategically critical procurement initiatives within a global environment.

    You will provide global leadership across one or more Real Estate and Office Services master category strategies, lead complex sourcing and contract negotiations, and act as a trusted advisor to senior procurement and business leaders.     • Experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders and executives

    • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive clarity and outcomes
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
    • International or EMEA experience is highly desirable

This is a day rate contract, and someone would need to start in late Jan / early Feb, with the potential for the role to be extended for 12 months+

      This role offers flexible home working, work for a well-known brand, lots of autonomy in your role, and high quality procurement projects.

      You will lead end-to-end sourcing and contract negotiation activities across complex, high-value categories. The role partners closely with legal and business stakeholders to manage risk, optimise total cost of ownership, and deliver both commercial and non-commercial value. You will drive robust sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and well-defined scopes of work across EMEA-focused projects.

      We are looking for:

      • Experience in a Procurement / Category role within a major organisation (5000+ colleagues ideally) is essential.
