Business Analyst – SC Cleared

Location: Home-Based (fully remote)
Contract: Until end of March
Day Rate: £450 Outside IR35

We’re looking for a proactive Business Analyst with strong consulting instincts – someone who thrives on turning complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes. You’ll play a key role in delivering a range of Identity, Access, Governance, and Onboarding initiatives, bridging the gap between business needs and delivery teams.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the analysis process end-to-end-shaping projects, driving clarity, and ensuring successful adoption across multiple stakeholder groups.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead business analysis across several initiatives covering onboarding, IDP integration, governance, and PAM discovery.

  • Treat each onboarding as a mini-project – capture, validate, and manage requirements from discovery to delivery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across application teams, architecture, governance forums, and leadership to define clear business needs.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation – requirements specs, process flows, decision logs, and governance packs.

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to build understanding and alignment.

  • Map and optimise as-is/to-be workflows, ensuring transparency and traceability.

  • Define acceptance criteria and success measures alongside delivery and sponsor teams.

  • Track progress, identify risks, and support resolution to keep projects on course.

  • Be the “voice of the business” in technical discussions, ensuring that outcomes deliver real value.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in consulting or client-facing environments.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – comfortable engaging with execs, delivery teams, and governance boards.

  • Confidence in taking ownership of deliverables and outcomes, not just documentation.

  • Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and process mapping (e.g. BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).

  • Workshop facilitation and problem-solving expertise.

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management or governance frameworks (JSM/ITIL experience desirable).

  • A curious mindset and ability to quickly grasp new technologies – exposure to Identity & Access Management is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a structured, consultative approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jira Service Management or similar workflow tools.

  • Understanding of risk, compliance, or governance processes.

  • Background in large-scale transformation within complex organisations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an agile, consulting-style environment – confident leading workshops, simplifying complexity, and keeping delivery moving while maintaining stakeholder trust.

Reasonable Adjustments:

Our success is driven by our people, united by the spirit of partnership to deliver the best resourcing solutions for our clients.
