Project Support Officer – SC Cleared

Location: Bristol / Andover twice per week.
Duration: 6 Months
Daily Rate: Circa £300-£350 per day (Outside IR35)

You must hold an active SC clearance.

We are looking for a Project Support Officer to manage project schedules, dependencies, and benefits across Defence Digital programmes. You will ensure plans are accurate, risks are tracked, and progress is clearly reported to support effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project, including milestones, critical paths, and baselines.

  • Identify, track, and report project dependencies across teams and stakeholders.

  • Maintain benefits registers, monitor progress, and support reporting to decision boards.

  • Assist with project coordination, documentation, and governance reporting.

  • Support continuous improvement of scheduling, dependency management, and benefits processes.

  • If you have cost modelling experience this will be very advantageous.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience managing project schedules, preferably using Microsoft Project.

  • Knowledge of WBS, task sequencing, critical paths, and baselines.

  • Experience tracking dependencies and project benefits.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

            You will:
