Responsibilities:

  • Document the existing architecture, database structure, and interface map for the SharePoint or .Net estate at client’s site using available documentation and staff interviews.
  • Assess and document the backup approach, data retention, and test procedures, ensuring alignment with policies.
  • Review and document current monitoring, event management, service continuity, and access control for the SharePoint or .Net estate.
  • Identify and document software environments, storage methods, and migration processes through environments to Live.
  • Contribute to the Knowledge Transfer (KT) plan, attend KT sessions, and document insights.
  • Create an operations manual, skills matrix, and central repository for all documentation.
  • Complete the Application Database and identify risks for the Risk Register.
  • Develop a Continuous Improvement Plan and a technical roadmap for the estate.
  • Review automation, ITSM tooling, configuration database, and capacity management for improvement opportunities.
  • Establish the current licensing position and work with the Transition Manager and SMEs to ensure smooth transition.
