You will join a people-focused digital consultancy supporting data-driven services across the UK public sector. This role is suited to Data Software Engineers with a strong technical foundation and an interest in data engineering, data science, and machine learning. You will work within agile, multidisciplinary teams alongside data scientists, platform engineers, and stakeholders to build robust data processing systems in secure environments.

Role Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing and integration systems to support data science and analytics workloads.

Develop high-quality, well-tested software using a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach.

Collaborate closely with data scientists to enable effective use of data for analytics and machine learning.

Build and operate cloud-based solutions, with a strong focus on AWS services.

Work with messaging, streaming, or data flow technologies to support real-time and batch data processing.

Contribute to infrastructure and platform automation using Infrastructure as Code.

Participate in agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, and code reviews.

Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and reliability requirements within public sector environments.

What You Will Bring to the Team

A strong interest in data, particularly data engineering, data science, or machine learning.

A solid technical background, with experience in Java, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.

Experience developing software using TDD or a strong willingness to adopt TDD practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

A strong Linux background.

Experience with data integration and messaging technologies such as Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.

Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Previous experience working in a consultancy or public sector delivery environment.

Familiarity with secure or regulated environments.

ServiceNow Developer

Rate: £550 – £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Location: London – on site twice a week

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the operation of an enterprise ServiceNow platform. The role will focus on platform maintenance, incident resolution, service requests and small enhancements, ensuring the platform remains stable and effective while the wider team focuses on project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Development and configuration within ServiceNow
• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
• Implement minor enhancements including workflow and UI updates
• Maintain platform configuration including roles, groups, tables and forms
• Ensure documentation is updated for completed changes
• Participate in stand-ups and backlog prioritisation

Experience Required:

• Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• Experience supporting BAU platform operations
• Knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, workflows, forms and tables
• Ability to deliver small enhancements and platform improvements

This is a hands-on contract role supporting the stability and ongoing improvement of a critical enterprise ServiceNow platform.

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Specialist to support a high-profile programme within a secure government environment. This role requires someone who is confident working with complex datasets and able to transform data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Due to the nature of the programme, active SC clearance and NPPV3 are essential requirements, and applicants must already hold these clearances.

The Role

As a Data Specialist, you will work closely with technical and operational teams to manage, analyse and interpret data from a range of sources. You will play a key role in ensuring that data is structured, accessible and used effectively to support programme objectives.

The role will involve analysing large and complex datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and helping stakeholders understand the insights that data can provide.
