Client Manager / Senior Client Manager – National Security

The Opportunity

We’re supporting the growth of a highly respected technology and engineering consultancy delivering solutions into the UK National Security and Public Sector space.

They are looking for both Client Managers and Senior Client Managers to strengthen key customer relationships, drive new business opportunities, and shape future capability across cutting-edge technology areas including AI, Cyber, Cloud, DevOps and advanced platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building and deepening relationships with National Security customers

  • Leading business development activity from opportunity shaping through to bid and win

  • Managing and growing a healthy pipeline aligned to account strategy

  • Acting as the voice of the customer internally to influence solutions and product direction

  • Supporting bid strategy, campaigns, and cross-functional delivery teams

    This role sits at the centre of a major transformation programme, delivering strategic, commercially focused projects with a strong emphasis on digital experience. You’ll take full ownership of projects end to end – from shaping ideas and building business cases through to delivery and adoption.

    Digital capability is critical. You’ll have hands-on experience delivering digital initiatives such as apps, websites, loyalty platforms or digital marketing projects, and understand how digital products land with both customers and internal teams.

    Key responsibilities

    • Own and deliver strategic projects from concept through to delivery and adoption

      Technical Junior Project Manager – Software

      We are seeking a motivated Technical Junior Project Manager to join a growing IT services company specialising in the development of bespoke software applications.       Role Overview:
      As a Junior Project Manager, you will work alongside a Senior Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. You will be involved in planning, coordinating, and tracking project milestones, as well as liaising with stakeholders and supporting the software development lifecycle.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Support the delivery of projects using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies

      • Assist in the development and execution of project plans

      • Track project milestones, deliverables, and sprint progress in Azure DevOps

      • Coordinate activities with internal teams and external stakeholders

      • Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and governance documents

          Project Support Officer – Governance

          Daily rate: Up to £300 per day, Inside IR35
          Duration: 12 months initially

          The successful candidate will provide end-to-end programme support that strengthens governance, accelerates delivery, and drives continuous improvement at every level.

          They will lead and facilitate high-impact internal and external reviews, including the annual Infrastructure Projects Authority review. Rather than simply managing the process, the role takes ownership of outcomes-actively progressing recommended improvement actions, tracking delivery, and ensuring completion between review cycles.

          Working closely with senior leadership, the role enables confident decision-making through structured and effective Programme Governance. The post-holder will support programme leadership by establishing the right forums, providing clear insights, and producing high-quality Programme Management Information (MI), ensuring senior decision-makers have a timely and accurate view of performance, risks, and priorities.

          The role will also:

          • Represent PMO services across key forums, identifying alignment challenges, opportunities, and emerging developments

          • Keep PMO leadership fully sighted on progress, risks, challenges, and successes across services

          • Provide flexible, ad-hoc support for governance boards and scheduled meetings

          • Deliver accurate, timely, and coherent MI across multiple governance boards
