AWS & Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer

Contract Length: 6 months initial

Location: Telford

Pay Rate to Candidate: £600/650

IR35 – Inside Scope

Clearance: SC Cleared

Our client are seeking an AWS and Azure DevOps specialist. The successful candidate will be using CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and write documentation (Gitlab and Confluence). The candidates will have had sole responsibility in delivering major applications in production ready state to the cloud.

You will also need to have a strong AGILE background and must be able to demonstrate ownership for something i.e process/ project, anything where you have had to make decisions and not follow the pack - this needs to be demonstrated on the CV.

  • AWS (Devops Engineer Certified)
  • Azure (Devops Expert Certified)
  • RedHat (RHCSA qualified)
  • Windows (MCSA certified)
  • Ansible (RHCE Ansible certified)

Required Skills & Experience:

Good working knowledge of Agile and DevOps ways of working with hands on experience with GitLab (or GitHub), Jira, Jenkins, Terraform and Ansible.

Develop industrial grade Ansible Playbooks, Terraform Plays to automate complete deployment runs of our major shared service applications.

Work in a disciplined and well-practiced Agile way using appropriate tooling (listed above) to release code and manage work through development, pre-production, and live.
