Overview

Sanderson are working with an innovative FinTech organisation who are looking for a confident and ambitious PHP Developer to join the growing team in Glasgow as they expand both their UK & US operations.

This role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work on some large scale, project driven work with plenty of Greenfield development taking place. The company in question are looking to truly develop their brand and these projects will underpin that.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong PHP knowledge and skills
  • Broad Knowledge of Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework or any other PHP framework
  • Comfortable with Object Oriented/procedural PHP programming
  • Recent experience with REST APIs
  • SQL and database design skills
  • experience with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL and/or other RDBMS
  • Demonstrable experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS

Soft Skills Required

  • Comfortable with dealing in issues ranging from front-end to back-end, and all points in between
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in an Agile development process
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Excited by learning emerging technologies.
