PR Executive / Communications Executive

Salary: Up to £25,000 - £40,000

We will consider applications from candidates with a technical interest or background who are looking to move into a PR focused career.

What is the job?

Day to day you will be required to work with external agencies in the UK, US, Germany and Japan to deliver PR plans and ideas. Alongside creating and supporting the content development of press releases, features and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter). Having knowledge of how to engage with relevant influencers will be very important in this role.

The successful candidate with be required to internally liaise with project managers, stakeholders and external PR agencies.

Essential Skills:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally with First Class Honours or 2:1 qualification.
  • 1-2+ years’ experience in a communications role or a PR, social media role at an agency or in house.
  • Experience or a good understanding of the software industry with a strong passion for technology.
  • Ideally good understanding of technology trends in cloud infrastructure, IoT and SaaS.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Ability to influence and engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Interest in computer science or related subjects in your spare time would be highly beneficial.
