Technical Consultant
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Location: Southampton

My client is a rapidly growing technology business and one of the leading providers of employee benefits solutions to well-established clients. They’re looking for a technical consultant to be responsible for the implementation and support of the systems that are created for their fantastic clients, often working simultaneously on projects for a number of clients with parallel timelines for delivery.

This will be a Permanent position situated in Central Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be configuring software, cross-examining data, creating and executing test scripts, building import and export data files, problem solving, and investigating and resolving queries
  • You’ll be responsible for configuring the systems to meet client specifications.
  • You’ll be required to cross-examine data using SQL.
  • You’ll assist the Data Services team and work alongside them to produce system reports.
  • You’ll document processes and procedures throughout the projects

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Coding experience is essential in one or more of the following; C#, SQL, HTML and CSS.
  • Data manipulation and interrogation working experience.
  • Working experience in a systems configuration environment.
  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • You’ll have strong analytical skills
