Are you an experienced Principle Data Architect?

Do you have experience of designing business wide data strategies?

If the answer is yes, then I am keen to speak with you about a role with our market leading financial services client based in Edinburgh, famed for their incredible working environment and employee engagement.

This role will see you take responsibility for the architecture for all of the business’s Data journey from strategic design through to BAU.

What will you be doing?

  • Take responsibility for creating the business’s Data strategy from scratch.
  • Capture and prioritise market and environmental trends along with business strategies and objectives.
  • Manage the team or architects as well as the budget for the largest programme of work within the business.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, high- level business models and business cases.
  • Liaise with C level stake holders to have strategic input in to business level decisions.
  • Lead the creation and review of systems capability strategy.

What do you need to have?

  • Proven track record of working as a Principle or head of architecture within a Data field.
  • Experience of acting at very high level to influence business wide strategies.
  • Strong ability to work with complex information of differing types.
  • Experience of managing very large budgets and dealing with very senior stakeholders.
  • Ideally has worked within an agile environment.
