Are you an experienced Business Architect?

Do you have experience of working on programmes throughout their full life cycle?

If the answer is yes, then I am keen to speak with you about a role with our market leading financial services client based in Edinburgh, famed for their incredible working environment and employee engagement.

This role will see you take over the architecture for all of the business’s new programmes of work, to really design the strategy and goals within this agile environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Take responsibility for the early stages for all new programmes.
  • Capture and prioritise market and environmental trends along with business strategies and objectives.
  • Establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives
  • Conduct feasibility studies, high- level business models and business cases.
  • Develop enterprise wide architecture and processes that insure the strategic goals are adhered to.
  • Lead the creation and review of systems capability strategy.

What do you need to have?

  • Proven track record of working as a business architect throughout full programme life cycles.
  • Experience of acting as a bridge between IT teams and the business.
  • Strong ability to work with complex information of differing types.
  • Background of working within the financial services industry ( ideally life and pensions)
  • Ideally has worked within an agile environment.
