Specialist Test Analyst
Salary: £40,000- £45,000
Location: London

My client, who are a leading global retailer providing IT solutions to their operating companies, are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Specialist Test Analyst to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining end-to-end testing frameworks for applications across the business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining an automated end to end testing framework for client applications.
  • Own the quality and efficiency of delivery
  • Responsible for executing end-to-end testing and exploratory testing, analysing technical functional specifications or user stories to develop the test cases and execute them thoroughly.
  • You’ll work together with varied levels of management (PO/BA’s), engineering and operations teams to plan testing for feature.
  • You’ll assure all products meet the acceptance criteria and quality standards
  • Ability to build robust automation test packs that can be run for each release and ability to bug reports in Jira

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Technical experience with the following tools and testing frameworks: Jira, XRAY, Restful API, Jenkins, Webdriver IO, Selenium and Cucumber
  • Having had exposure to programming languages such as: Java, Groovy and JavaScript
  • Experience of creating and maintaining regression test suites, cross browser testing, mobile apps testing (iOS and Android preferably)
  • Strength across manual and automation testing, working on digital or ecommerce related projects would be desirable
  • Experience with digital and ecommerce industry would be a good benefit
  • You will have exposure to working in an agile development environment, have experience in creating and maintaining regression test suites, cross browser testing, mobile apps testing( iOS and Android)
  • Have demonstrable understanding of testing in the context of both agile and waterfall methodology (function / non-function) as well as an understanding of analytical and problem- solving skills with strong attention to detail.
