Nick is responsible for the launch and growth of the Government & Defence division, it is his responsibility to lead and drive growth of the company across the Public sector, with the aim of becoming a key recruiter of choice.
Client Relationship Manager
Charlie joined Sanderson, 14 years ago, as a Consultant working in the main Perm team, and quickly found an appetite for clients and candidates in the Government & Defence sector, quickly becoming the designated perm consultant for Sanderson G&D. Charlie has now progressed through to the G&D Management team responsible for both existing and new Client relationships consisting of both our Key long standing Clients, as well as new customers across the Government, Defence, National and Cyber Security Sector.
Drew joined Sanderson Government & Defence in the summer of 2018, having started her recruitment career in 2017. Drew predominantly delivers into our contract team focusing on Central Government and is responsible for providing a consultative approach to both candidates and clients in what is a relationship driven market. Drew is a technical recruiter covering all skillsets but has particular expertise in Software Testing and Infrastructure.
Sinead joined over a year ago, as her first role after graduating from the University of Birmingham. She is responsible for the delivery of a range of IT and Business Change applicants into the National Security & Defence sector. She has progressed to taking on key client relationships, adopting a relationship based approach to delivering for both her clients and candidates alike. More recently, Sinead will be moving to take added responsibility for Public Sector aligned accounts.
Head of Permanent Recruitment
James joined Sanderson Government & Defence in 2017 at the start of a period of significant growth. Alongside James core permanent responsibility he also plays a lead role on business development, commercial growth and framework management for both contract and permanent roles within Public Services UK wide and embedded recruitment solutions across private sector defence organisations.
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Andy joined Sanderson in 2009 as an experienced hire working across IT Infrastructure, software development, business & finance recruitment delivery. After an initial period in cross market delivery Andy went on to exploit 10 years previous experience in the Government and Defence recruitment sector by joining Sanderson’s Government & Defence division. Andy is currently responsible mainly for the recruitment of senior appointment roles as well as supporting business development activity.
Marcus joined Sanderson Government and Defence in April of 2018. Marcus’ focus is DV & SC Cleared contract recruitment, focusing primarily on the Home Office and National Security.
Head of Contract Delivery & Solutions
Stuart is Head of Contract Delivery and Solutions, driving the contract delivery unit across the Public Sector. He very strongly believes that our growth has spurred from the culture of our organisation and the use of relationship based recruitment.
Justine joined Sanderson Government and Defence in February 2019 after spending seven years working in the contract market within the NHS. She has joined Sanderson to further develop the Defence sector and to assist both clients and candidates with skills and requirements in Business Operations; Project Management, Transformation, Business Change.
Having worked at Sanderson G&D since the summer of 2018 as a recruitment consultant, Ben specialises in the Software Development sector across the UK for our Government clients. His main focus is to immerse himself in the software world, and to build long-lasting candidate relationships in the process.
Josh joined Sanderson Government and Defence in October 2018, he works within the permanent team focusing on the Defence and National Security markets.
Transitioning from an Account Process Manager to an Account Manager for the Government & Defence division, Jodie’s responsibility is to manage the smooth day to day running of the G&D accounts consisting of role releases, interview requests and offers.
James works across multiple disciplines including Software Development, Infrastructure & Business Change. He enjoys maintaining relationships with both candidates & clients to ensure they both receive the best possible outcome.

Lisa joined Sanderson G&D as part of the newly formed Account Management team. Her focus is client relationships, processes, governance and management information.
Talent Aquisition Manager
Julian's main focus is within permanent recruitment, his role involves working exclusively with one of our longest established clients in the Defence space.
Georgia joined Sanderson in August 2019, after finishing her master’s degree. She is responsible for pushing and developing the Government and Defence brand.
Saskia joined the Sanderson Government and Defence team in September 2019, she’s currently operating across the contract and permanent market with a focus on the public sector.
Junior Account Manager
Lizzie joined the G&D Account Management team in September 2019. She is responsible for the smooth, day to day running of account processes, as well as developing client relations with those accounts.
Senior Recruitment Manager
Nick has played a significant part in the set-up of Sanderson G&D. His current role involves working exclusively with one of our longest established clients in the National Security space, managing their talent acquisition programme. This focuses on strategy and innovation, alongside day to day delivery and ensuring adoption of recruitment best practice.
Tatiana’s role focuses on both permanent and contract recruitment that is predominantly within the Public Sector, recruiting candidates for both cleared and non-cleared roles.
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Lee joined Sanderson in 2017 as an Executive Search Consultant in our retained search division. Lee has since progressed into our Government and Defence team where he is chiefly responsible for strategic roles that are key to the business.
Lilla started her recruitment career with Sanderson in 2018 after she moved back to Bristol from Hungary. She joined Sanderson Government and Defence in July 2019. She is focusing on delivering security cleared candidates across contract and permanent accounts within the Government and Defence sector, specialising in Cyber Security.
Talent Acquisition Manager
Nastasia is the Talent Acquisition Manager for BAE Applied Intelligence, focusing on DV recruitment for National Security.
