Announcing our sponsorship with The Network of Consulting Actuaries
Sanderson are proud to announce that we’re sponsors of the Network of Consulting Actuaries’ monthly webinars!
The Network of Consulting Actuaries (NoCA), is an independent, non-profit organisation who are committed to developing and sharing knowledge amongst independent consulting actuaries in the UK.
Sanderson have sponsored NoCA in support and recognition of NoCA aiding in the continuous learning of actuaries within their sector. They support actuaries who are involved in areas of Solvency II, longevity, actuarial software, financial reporting and pricing.
Their mission is to make a positive contribution to the ongoing development of the insurance sector and supporting actuaries, where possible, to develop in their career including CPD courses.
At Sanderson, we pride ourselves on being recruitment experts within our different vertical markets. Our Actuarial department has been running for 10 years and has placed for companies such as Lloyds Banking Group, Aviva and Royal London. As such, this sponsorship allows our consultants to stay up-to-date with the latest updates within the market and use this information to advise our clients appropriately when recruiting.
NoCA’s webinars explore various topics within the actuarial sector, with the aim of giving their members the best knowledge and expertise within the Insurance business.
The first webinar will take place on the 29th March, on the subject of “To Omega and beyond: the evolution of longevity”.
On the sponsorship, Erik Snaathorst, Actuarial Consultant, said:
“NoCA is a key stakeholder within the actuarial industry, which is why we’re very excited to sponsor them. As the market is incredibly niche, it’s a great resource to keep up to date with industry updates and developments as well as maintain contacts within the actuarial sector; these webinars are the perfect method in achieving both.”
