January marks the one year anniversary of the opening of our Leeds office. The office was the 9th regional opening outside Bristol HQ and joined Manchester in our North England presence. It was opened in 2018 to cater for the growing local demand for IT and Business Change professionals and has since developed its professional services offering resourcing solutions for Finance, Marketing, HR, Actuarial, Risk and Compliance roles to name a few.

Alistair Collier, Regional Director of the North of England, said:

‘It’s been a whirlwind first year in Leeds for us. We have achieved so much in such a short period of time but are still so excited about the wider opportunity that the city offers. We have made over 85 placements over the last 12 months, allowing us the opportunity to take a bigger space and expand our brand awareness dramatically. We are proud to have made key partnerships with amazing clients and look forward to expanding both our contingent and RPO/MSP propositions in Yorkshire over the next 12 months. I’d even be confident in saying that the uplift in Leeds United’s fortunes are linked to us in some way too!’

Illustrative of this success, the turnover of the new branch has increased by roughly 250% in the space of 12 months; from £1.1 million to £3.8 million as of December 2018. Well done to the team!

Jon Ball, Managing Director of Sanderson, said ‘what great work achieved by our Leeds team. They’ve nearly tripled their turnover, grown the team and outgrown their office space already. We can only see bigger and better things for this branch. Congratulations on their anniversary!’
