Sanderson’s massive Bristol head office renovation is now underway
Following Sanderson Recruitment’s 2019 rebrand, the Bristol head office is now undergoing a mass refurbishment so that the office reflects the company’s goals and purpose.
Returning to the office has been short but sweet. Having returned to their desks in September 2020, the team are now packing up their belongings to work from home until the Clifton office grand reopening in the first week of September 2021.
One of Sanderson’s core values is that its people are its assets; the intention of the new office is to promote this value through collaboration, energy, and a happy and productive place to work. To ensure that the team would be returning to a space that they love, Sanderson employees were invited to vote on their favourite of three prospective office designs.
The vote was cast on Wednesday, April 28 and the winning design was announced a week later on Thursday, May 6.
Work has already begun on clearing out the office space ready for the contractors to take over for the next three months. The team’s home offices have been dusted off and the office’s plants have found themselves temporarily employed as houseplants.
In its commitment to eco-friendly practises, Sanderson has allocated extra budget into making sure that everything gets repurposed or recycled and, where possible, the most environmentally friendly options have been chosen. Recycled timber for cladding, carpet tiles made from old fishermen's nets, and a HVAC system to improve indoor air quality are just some of the touches to be brought into the Clifton office.
The new office has been designed by commercial interior design company Environments For Business, which is local to the South West, and will feature a spacious office area, multi-purpose spaces, collaborative break-out rooms, and multiple meeting and project rooms.
The team are excited to return in September and see the highly-anticipated renovation in the flesh.
