Server Build Engineer
Windows Server build engineer required for a prestigious client based in Cheshire.
Engagement is via umbrella company.
Attendance on site 2 days per week.
The successful candidate will have Windows Server internals level knowledge of all versions, preferably including Windows Server 2022 and Active Directory.
Skills & experience required:
- Windows Server 2022
- PowerShell scripting – Functional level programming which may interact with Windows Server core cmdlets – Automated process to create users, Disk RAID setup, Partitioning, configuring Network – DHCP, NIC, RDP & File share access, Package installation etc
- Physical Server Building and Deployment process using HPE / Dell using ILO/IDRAC
- Knowledge to create automated ISO’s using Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT)
- DevOps CI/CD experience (GitLab) preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills essential
