Underwriter - Income Protection - Fully Remote

The successful candidate will be able to work fully remote.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and maintain business relationships
• Participation in process improvement
• Work closely with the Head of Underwriting and underwriting team
• To underwrite new and existing business
• Maintain awareness of the importance of risks within the company, and bring matters of concern to the head of underwriting
• Support the underwriting team, continually reviewing practices

About You

• Be experienced with a strong protection background
• Have experience of working within an underwriting team with an elevated level of authority for income protection products
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains knowledge, keeping up with CPD, industry and market changes
• Able to communicate routine/complex/sensitive information internally and externally
