Service Desk Engineer

Bristol / Hybrid

Up to £33,000 salary

We have 4 exciting opportunities to join a fast-growing organisation based in Bristol and be part of a vibrant, highly skilled team at the cutting edge of technology. In this role, you’ll help support a wide range of end users consistently maximise the value of their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote technical support, with occasional on-site visits to clients.
  • Assist clients via phone, email, and ticket management systems.
  • Document solutions and update the internal knowledge base.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in supporting:
    • Microsoft Server Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • VMware
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Veeam Backup & Replication
    • Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
  • Prior experience working in a large organisation with a high amount of end users
  • Proficiency in configuring and supporting network devices, including firewalls and switches.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework principles.

  • Veeam Cloud Connect
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
  • Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
  • Fortinet Firewalls
  • HPE Server Hardware & Switches
  • Office 365 Migrations
  • PowerShell scripting
