Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel Engineer) – SC Cleared
Location: Barrow-In-Furness | 5 Days On-Site
Rate: Open For Discussion | Inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
Contract: 6 Months
We’re currently working with a client of ours to recruit for an experienced Senior Wintel Engineer to join an existing, established Wintel team working into a technical defence client based in Barrow-In-Furness.
Responsibilities:
- Change Implementation
- Access Control Management
- AD Management
- DHCP Management
- Administration
- User Administration
- High Availability/Cluster Administration
- Emergency and Critical OS Patch Management
- OS Maintenance & Break Fix Support
- Direct Attached Storage (DAS) Management
- Operating System Backup and Recovery
- Hardware, Firmware and Driver Updates
- Problem Resolution
- Documentation
Essential Experience/Skills:
- Windows Scripting, PowerShell
- Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
- Active Directory
- Network troubleshooting/configuration
- VMware, vSphere, vCenter
- Experience of developing infrastructure as Code solutions
- Experience of Hardware support
- Experience of OEM
- Understanding of CI/CD Principles
