Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial – 6 Month FTC

I’m currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to join a small, busy legal team to assist with a wide range of legal matters. This will be a highly commercial role and I am looking for somebody very strong on commercial contracts.

Skills / Experience

• In-house experience preferably in retail or at least within a small, fairly unstructured environment
• Partnering with the business in key areas to lead on complex projects
• Responsible for overseeing, approving and monitoring WIP and invoices for external legal suppliers, ensuring cost effective legal advice is obtained at all times and in line with letters of engagement.
• Negotiating a range of commercial contracts
• Providing ad hoc advice to the business on an array of other matters
• Commercially focused Senior Legal Counsel
• Managing 2 more junior members of the team
• Qualified Solicitor
