Senior Business Development Manager
Location; Northwest UK – Excellent Hybrid / Remote working policy, travel required due to nature of role.
Salary; Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Package
We are currently working alongside on of our financial services clients to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager , This is a pivotal role for the organisation whom are looking to grow their mortgage offering via the mortgage intermediary channel
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development Team: Manage and guide individual Business Development Managers.
- Strategy Development: Create and manage business development strategies and plans, aligning with market conditions, competitor activity and existing capabilities
- New Business Relationships: Identify and develop new business relationships to support overall gross mortgage lending goals.
- Event Management: Design and host events for groups of intermediaries, networks, and mortgage clubs.
- Expert Guidance: Provide detailed advice and guidance to intermediaries, networks, and mortgage clubs on our lending policy and criteria.
- Market Analysis: Maintain a deep understanding of key competitor products and criteria to identify opportunities for product or lending criteria development.
- Performance Reporting: Compile business performance and activity reports for the Head of Operations.
Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements
- Mortgage Lending Experience: Significant experience in Mortgage Lending and the Financial Services sector.
- Business Development/Sales Experience: Proven track record in business development/sales.
- Results Focused: Strong focus on achieving results.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Effective Communicator: Confident and effective in all forms of communication, including presentations.
- Independent and Team Worker: Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence: Required.
