Role: ServiceNow Business Analyst
Location: Remote with limited travel to Salisbury
Duration: 6 months
Clearance: SC
Rate: Max £650 pd inside IR35
You will work with and support colleagues to develop a deep understanding our customer’s needs and communicate these in to our Service implementation teams. Using proven methods and tools, you will participate in project planning, analysis of client’s needs, capture, validation and management of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, and test case design.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in the development of functional business requirements and help users assess relative priorities for both business process and technology solutions.
- Understands business processes and priorities.
- Develops business and system requirements, functional designs, process flows, and test plans.
- Work collaboratively with peers to coordinate the overall delivery of technology solutions to the business groups.
- Interface with the application development team to validate test results for new applications verifying that they meet the requirements of their business group.
ServiceNow Platform Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, including tables, forms, lists, business rules, client scripts, and workflows.
Requirements Gathering:
- Expertise in eliciting, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Process Mapping and Improvement: - Skill in mapping current state processes and designing future state processes.
Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of ITIL practices and processes, particularly related to ITAM.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Stakeholder Management:
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to senior management.
- Skill in managing expectations and communicating complex technical concepts in layman’s terms.
Communication:
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
