Quality Assurance & Test – Migrations & Borders / £350pd – £400pd / 6 Month Contract / London – Hybrid
The QAT Lead in Migrations and Borders is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of testing processes within the department. This position requires a deep understanding of quality assurance principles and their application within the complex migration and border control context.
Core Duties:
- Test Strategy and Planning: Develops, reviews, and amends testing schedules and procedures to align with project objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborates with Commercial, Legal, and other teams to understand requirements and ensure testing aligns with business needs.
- Bid Evaluation: Assesses bidders’ documentation from a QAT perspective, providing expert input on their testing methodologies and capabilities.
- Q&A and Feedback: Participates in clarification sessions, providing expert guidance and written feedback on QAT-related matters.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serves as the primary point of contact for all QAT-related inquiries, offering expert knowledge and support.
- Strategic Leadership: Provides strategic direction to the wider QAT team and acts as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Team Management: Offers management support to the QAT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
