Project Manager – New Operating Model (TOM)

Our prestigious client require an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation and embedding of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) for the client’s Technology department. The new TOM design has been completed, so this Project Manager will focus on the delivery of multiple people and process focused changes to deliver a harmonised operating structure and ways of working across their Technology department of circa 300 FTE.

This Project Manager will need to be comfortable working autonomously and without the support of a large project team and PMO, so must be able to lead end to end projects as well as owning their own project governance, reporting etc. This Project Manager will need to have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills as they will be working closely with lots of colleagues within the Technology department as part of the implementation of the new TOM, and will also be required to regularly engage and provide updates to senior stakeholders within Technology.

Up to £680 per day – UMBRELLA ONLY

6 month initial contract (with scope for long term extensions)

Hybrid working – 50% onsite in Worcester office

Experience needed:

• Strong previous project management experience, within large corporate / blue-chip environments
• Proven track record of delivering Target Operating Model changes within IT or Technology functions
• Strong previous experience of delivering people, process and ways of working change projects
• Experience of working as a standalone Project Manager (with minimal support from wider project / PMO teams) as part of end to end project deliveries
• A hands-on, ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach to project management
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
