New opportunity to work with an existing client of ours into the defence sector. Our client is looking for a talented Network SME / Network Architect with an active DV clearance, who ideally has had experience within the defence sector previously. This position is a 6-month contract role, with opportunities for extensions at the end of the contract.
The Network SME role will include these responsibilities:
- Upgrade small, closed network environments from unsupported Cisco products to new Juniper technologies.
- Execute the re-designed network solution in accordance with the technical, security, and service governance standards of the wider programme.
- Collaborate with the technical lead, project manager and other Network SME to develop, implement, test, and assure the network solution.
The following skills are required:
- HLD & LLD capabilities.
- Cisco Experience.
- Juniper Experience.
- DV Clearance.
