Linux/Unix Engineer, Linux System Administrator, Apache, Puppet, Ansible, fully remote
Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking to hire an experience Linux Engineer / Systems Administrator.
Knowledge and experience of Apache essential as well as a broad knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms and operating system fundamentals.
Suitable candidates will also have a basic knowledge of Network related technologies and Load Balancers, specifically F5.
Engagement is via umbrella company only.
Skills and Experiences Required
- Apache
- Understanding of cloud concepts AWS or Azure
- Ability to effectively manage a large server estate including configuration management & large-scale automation
- ITIL concepts
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP Networking concepts
- Knowledge of Puppet or Ansible
- x86 virtualisation, ideally VMware)
