Fantastic new role to the market from one of the UK’s largest tech providers in their space; offering ground-breaking, Cloud-based technology/services and who have a massive product roadmap ahead. Our client is seeking a seasoned Release Manager to join the business as they embark on an exciting period of growth in their evolution, with this role seen as a key hire.
Performing as a seasoned IT Release Manager, you will own and manage the release process to ensure consistency and stability across the business and effectively communicate changes to business stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and fulfil stakeholder needs, bringing everything together towards a successful release.
In your role, you will work across Development, Test, Solutions and Operations to ensure delivery is achieved for each release and that priorities are achieved against the roadmap. To enable this, the role will offer you the autonomy to streamline the process and allow you the latitude to put a release process in place.
Previously, you will have worked closely with technology and crucially, be able to articulate technical requirements to stakeholders; experience of complex environments/release processes is essential. Any SaaS experience is a huge bonus, as is resilience.

Key Skills & Experience
- Key experience managing a release pipeline, including scheduling, tracking, and monitoring of releases.
- Bring a successful track record of delivering large software projects on time and to specification.
- Ability to streamline release processes successfully.
- Multiple years’ experience in software development or in a related technical role.
- Multiple years’ experience in technical management.
- Knowledge of software development best practice.
- Coordinate release activities across multiple teams.
- Experience of developing contingency plans to address potential issues and minimise disruptions.
- Provide regular updates on release status and any issues to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in the release process.
- SaaS experience beneficial
- Broad knowledge of agile methodologies and environments.
- Excellent communicator
- Exceptional organisational skills.
