A business in central Bristol are looking for an Infrastructure & Network Manager with a solid background in storage, networking, physical infrastructure, virtual and cloud, including Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a service.

The Infrastructure & Network Manager will be responsible for a team of engineers and external suppliers ensuring the secure, efficient and smooth running of the core environment delivering uninterrupted provisioning of operational services.

Infrastructure & Network Manager responsibilities will include:

• Support the Head of Infrastructure: Assist in developing and improving customer-focused services, promoting efficiency through standardized procedures and systems.
• Manage Vendor Contracts: Oversee third-party support contracts, ensuring SLAs are met and value for money is achieved.
• Disaster Recovery: Ensure all IT services have recovery plans and are regularly tested.
• Manage IT Projects: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to plan.
• Monitor and Manage Services: Proactively manage service availability and capacity to meet SLAs.
• Mentoring and Training: Provide professional mentoring and coaching, deliver training, and develop team capabilities.
• 2nd and 3rd Level Support: Oversee system maintenance, including upgrades, security updates, and user access management.
• Data Centre Management: Ensure data centers meet capacity, safety standards, and availability targets.

The business offers hybrid working where you will be expected to work onsite 2 days a week.
