Role overview:
As Head of Compliance you will be accountable for creating, executing, and supervising the compliance policy framework, and offering expert counsel on regulatory issues.
THE ROLE:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives
- Provide leadership and direction to the compliance advice team, fostering a culture of ethical conduct and compliance awareness
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies on the status of compliance efforts
- Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Establish monitoring mechanisms to track compliance with policies and procedures
- Acting as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer
- Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements, ensuring that the organisation remains compliant with all applicable laws
