Full Stack Developer

Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Location: Exeter EX2
Work Arrangement: Primarily on-site, with flexibility for some remote work.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Nationality: Applicants must be sole UK nationals.
• Security Clearance: Candidates with existing UK MOD security clearance will have an advantage. However, candidates without clearance must have the ability and willingness to obtain UK MOD Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in developing secure web applications, ideally within fields such as surveillance, security, or real-time data services.
• Strong proficiency in Django, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Commitment to producing high-quality code with a solid understanding of security compliance and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Formally recognised qualifications are advantageous.

Job Skills:

• Proficient in Cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Strong experience in developing applications with secure-by-design principles.
• Extensive experience in unit testing.
• Competence in code management using tools like GIT.
• A keen eye for user interface design and enhancing user experience.
• Experience with Python packages for data science (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, TensorFlow).
• Solid knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
