Finance Administrator / Analyst (Testing) – Bristol, £25-30k, 1 year FTC

Here at Sanderson we are currently working with a best-in-class pension platform provider, who are recruiting several Finance Administrators / Analyst’s who can join their core testing department. The role will support large change and transformation programmes on multiple project deliverables by running tests through a variety of processes.

The role is best suited to a university graduate who has around 1-2 years working experience, but they would also consider candidates coming straight from university.

The role is in Bristol, and is hybrid based – with a couple days per week being acceptable.

You’ll be:

• Work with Finance Test Managers across multiple transformation and change initiatives ensuring targets are met.
• Reviewing project, requirement and process documentation to ensure they are appropriate for finance testing purposes.
• Prepare finance test scripts and enhancing them with appropriate material for use by the Offshore Test Execution Team.
• Support the selection of the finance testing sample cases to ensure appropriate finance testing coverage and clearly specify the evidence required to demonstrate the tests have “passed”.
• Support the justification of any finance-related testing issues and drive the resolution of these.

You should apply if you:

• Have experience working within a Finance Analyst type role OR have recently graduated university with a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Mathematics or any related course
• Strong understanding of MS Office especially Excel and Word
• An analytical approach to problem solving, supported by strong personal skills and confidence
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to self-manage, work effectively under pressure and manage to tight deadlines
