Are you a seasoned data professional with a passion for building data warehouses (DWH) and data lakes from scratch?
Leading FinTech is looking to bring in an experienced DWH Architect to be part of an innovative and exciting greenfield project and work with cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop: Architect and implement a scalable Data Warehouse or Data Lake from the ground up
- Data Commercialisation: Advise the business on which data attributes and metrics can be commercialised, helping to unlock new revenue streams
- Cloud Native Solutions: Leverage Azure cloud services to create robust and efficient data solutions
- Data Integration: Integrate diverse data sources to create a unified and comprehensive data environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Skills/Experience
- An experienced Data Architect with proven experience in building Data Warehouses or Data Lakes from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in Azure cloud services
- You will be hands on rather than a high-level strategist and ideally worked in smaller organisations
- Ideally worked in the Financial Services sector
- Expertise in MongoDB or another document-oriented database (would consider any experience with Cosmos DB)
