We have an excellent opportunity working on a permanent basis as a Product Governance and Control Officer for a leading finance organisation.

My client is a market leading Financial Services company looking to expand their Product Governance and Control Team. You will be a 'subject matter expert' responsible for ensuring the Product portfolio complies with the industry and company standards and championing product governance and control to senior stakeholders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the creation and improvement of Governance process and documentation across the life-cycle of UK products in line with UK regulation and industry best practice.
• You'll be involved with the development of a new testing process to ensure positive customer outcomes.
• A demander of multiple projects, especially projects with a strategic product outcome.
• Maintain and originate management information processes to ensure that robust Product Governance control environment is maintained within the Product Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will have experience within Product governance and product compliance.
• You will be confident within risk management and carrying out comprehensive risk analysis within financial services.
• You will have a general knowledge of the processes and systems supporting UK Products.
• A background within financial services is desirable but not essential.
