Job title: Contracts Finance Analyst

Job type: Contract (6 months)

Day rate: £450 per day, inside of IR35

Location: Remote with ad hoc travel to site (1-2 days a month to London or Southampton)

Contracts Finance Analyst required at a FTSE 100, multinational retailing company.

You, a Contracts Finance Analyst, will be expected to significantly contribute significantly to the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results as well as provide meaningful analysis to improve understand of the company's financial performance and undertake significant projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team.

You will be working closely with Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure they have all the information necessary to properly advise the business.

As a Contracts Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing business unit and product pricing and profitability models
  • Supporting implementation of the UK Deal Pricer tool
  • Developing and roll out cost allocations methodology in EMEA
  • Working with US to bring transparently and accuracy to group allocations process
  • Working with group FP&A to finalise/document and implement updated, driver based group allocations framework
  • Helping with tracking and controlling EMEA project costs as well as allocations from group projects
  • Partnering with US colleagues on project accounting
  • Developing investment appraisal and benefit tracking framework
  • Supporting wider strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting process

Qualifications and Experience needed for this Contracts Finance Analyst role:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Dynamic and forward thinking individual with the ability to analyse complex data with sound rationale and intellectual rigour
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to following through to completion
  • Strong ability to interpret financial information and convey it in a clear concise manner
  • Proactive approach to driving efficiencies and improvements in processes
  • Positive attitude, paired with a strong analytical approach with the ability to work competently under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Able to work with ambiguity & be comfortable with change
