I am currently looking for a Proposition Manager to join a financial services organisation and be based in Gloucestershire. The right candidate will be responsible for the development of market leading products aimed at the student demographic, that drive both increased acquisition and retention.

This is an excellent role for someone who understands marketing towards the student audience and wants a role where they can have a significant impact on the development of customer centric products and propositions.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full proposition lifecycle; from research & analysis, through to the development of go-to-market plans
  • Develop and maintain and awareness of trends within the insurance or similar industries, in order to develop market knowledge and identify potential opportunities
  • Scope the research and analysis framework to ensure a consistent and measurable process
  • Review existing product lines and assess how these can be enhanced to further achieve commercial objectives
  • Design new product lines aimed at the student market and drive these through the development process
  • Manage the commercial aspects of proposition development, considering budgets and P&L benchmarks
  • Ensure propositions and products abide by governance and regulatory guidelines
  • Act as the key point of contact with stakeholders across the business

Essential skills:

  • Experience of marketing to a student audience
  • Strong background in the design and development of customer centric propositions
  • Previous experience in a pure marketing capacity would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector would be beneficial
  • Able to challenge the status quo
  • Innovative and creative
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
