Currently entering a period of business change and modernisation, this leading employer is looking to add to its team with the appointment of a Frontend Developer. This organisation has recently signed off on a number of projects to bring its IT systems in line with its exacting standards as well as drive forward to market leading standards. This role is critical in that success.

As a Frontend Developer, responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in some of the following:

  • Experience working for a digital software/web development company
  • JavaScript and front-end frameworks (jQuery), HTML5 and CSS3, SASS or similar
  • Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA)
  • REST, Web Services, Web application frameworks
  • Security cleared or eligiable for clearance.
